Re: How to research trap door serial number for history

There is no official information on that number, nor is it one I have logged in the registry of such guns that I have been keeping for over 40 years. Closest numbers known are 38115 and 38197, so it is potentially believable as a carbine, but without at least seeing pictures, I couldn't say much more. A great many early carbines have been "assembled" over the years, driven by the Custer/LBH hysteria.
