Re: Why my hair is white

Posted by John on Wednesday, 21 August 2013, at 11:42 p.m., in response to Why my hair is white, posted by Dick Hosmer on Wednesday, 21 August 2013, at 11:11 p.m.

Not having tilted my quota of windmills or jackasses yet this month, I gave it a try. Not sure if it will get a response, but the objective is for him to realize the error of his description and fix it. We will see if this had any educational value: "Sir- Nice rifle, but it has absolutely NOTHING to do with Joslyn rifles as discussed in the description.

Here is a link to the Springfield Armory Museum showing a Joslyn and its side opening breech. ww3.rediscov.com/spring/VFPCGI.exe?IDCFile=/spring/DETAILS.IDC,SPECIFIC=11150,DATABASE=84312237,

Hope that helps you correct things. (I am very familiar with Joslyns, and own 4 of the 3,007 made, along with several of the M1868 Springfield which you are selling, along with the research which has been done on them.)"
