Re: LBH cartridge

John,Early this year I showed you the cartridge shell that an old friend said he found at the lower area under Reno Hill. He found a pile of them about six inches below the ground and figured that an Indian had fired them up at the troopers on the hill. The shell has the wide crimp and we talked about the difference between the crimps, which was news to me. Seems like with all the study that has been done on the subject that someone like Dick Harmon would know for sure. Also the old friend told me that the soldiers from Fort Custer would salt the battleground with empty cases so that people could have a steady supply of souvenirs. If this is true, it complicates things. Are you taking part in the reenactment this week? I have never been to it, but if it is not to hot, I may go this year. Jim
