well at least you read the description. I failed to even look at it focusing on the letter and pictures. So, guess they are not lying! In a sense that is. I am from this area, and know the folks who own that area.. and low lying river area that is.. I question the color of the wood and even rust.. but hey in 1938, who knows. Anyhow.. that area was used also by Fort Custer as a saw mill for some that do not know. Cut down Indian gun in that area that also had lots of scaffold burials from Crow Indians.. actually could be! But not a "Custer" as fars as battle gun. That's for sure. An old relic.. positive with a neat story! :)
