The eagle (or turkey buzzard) has landed.

Precious little help there. But I CAN definitely say it is NOT a Winchester!

In all seriousness, it could be as "good" as simply having a replaced stock, or as "bad" as an out-and-out fake. The breechblock MIGHT be the high-comb style, which would be wrong, and the 1873 rear sight definitely LOOKS like the rifle version, ditto. I also THINK the barrel looks "fat", which could indicate a cut-off. I enlarged the photo until it became so pixelated as to be useless.

Beyond that, I'd just be guessing - but I wouldn't put out big bucks, solely on THAT pic.
