Clay

A parts gun is valued at the sum of it's (useable) parts if sold separately.

If the piece is otherwise intact AND has a good bore,(shoot-able) lands & grooves, you would not want to pay over $400.00.

Check Al's parts listings for the prices of the missing parts. Add these figures to the cost of the piece to determine if you are willing to pay that much or as John suggests find one that needs no parts.

Also, look on GunBroker.com or AuctionArms.com for comparable Trapdoors. There are a large number for sale at this time.
