I have no issues with RIA regarding their descriptions, my experience is that they do a better than average job of describing the positive and negative attributes of the item. I do take issue with the auction companies that do not allow the auction process to work. My experience for some auctions is that you do not provide a prebid, you just provide a maximum auction amount. There are others where you provide a bid, and your maximum bid. In this case, I agree, start with my pre-bid, but let the auction process determine the final price. When an auction company describes a process, I expect them to follow that process. I do not mention any particular company, as I have bid on items with several auction companies.
