I like them all too, but I like those that are (apparently) "as made" just a little bit better.

One also has to consider the level of insanity involved. Some guys are happy with one representative TD, so, almost anything in the way of honest historical evolution would suffice. Same for a person who wanted one rifle, one carbine, and one cadet. Almost anywhere on the timeline would do the trick.

Then, there are total freaks (like me) who tried to get one of every variation. That, by definition, basically rules out mixed models.
