Anheuser-Busch Custer's Last Stand Lithograph

Posted by Bob Meyer on Wednesday, 4 July 2012, at 1:49 p.m.

I thought I might get the forum booted back here.

Just picked up one of the early (2nd edition...circa 1904-1910) Anheuser-Busch Custer's Last Stand Lithographs. I have been looking for quite some time for a reasonably priced one. Paid $400.00.

I had been wanting the1st edition, from 1896 to 1904....but couldn't justify the $1,500+ price tag.

The 2nd edition is the same size as the first one, only difference is the wording. Instead of "Anheuser Busch Brewing Association" says "Anheuser-Busch, St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A."

Below that it reads..."World's Largest Brewery"....and below that..."Home of Budweiser and other Anheuser-Busch Fine Beers". The 2nd edition does not have the word "Budweiser" in large letters...just small lettering to match the rest of the words in the line.

Looks great in my new "man-cave" gunroom!

Just curious how many others have also collected one of these?

Happy 4th of July to all!!! Remember all who have, and continue to...defend our Freedom!
