I have looked at the photographs for a while and can see nothing wrong from them. Granted its not a hands on inspection and I believe any three day inspection would end the second a screwdriver touched the weapon. Also while not anything to do with the carbine its not listed in SRS but all the 199-- numbers around it are 10th. cav. and NO Custer carbines show in that range. So one can always say it was in their fantasy with Col. Grearson at the battle of Rattlesnake Springs Tx. As to finding the iten while it did not by number show up on the site by search another thirty seconds on the site found it even for an old fa-- like me. The Rod Bayonet rifle with the tiger stripe stock and silver presentation plate was nice and the Om was odd in that all the pictures showed a very light stock, BUT the one showing the forend engraving from the bottom showed a dark walnut stain? anyone notice that?
