Hello Dick, I believe some dealers are under the assumption that if parts or a complete gun from many different years of production and made by the same manufacturer it is (original). No matter the time frame or mix of said parts. As long as they were made by Springfield or so and so. They fail to take into account that parts may in no way be cronologicaly correct to the piece. I think this is how they get away with (original). To me this cheats the novice and is false advertiseing. Sincerely, Larry Sunday PS, you really got me on the waxing puckish thing...
