Very definitely you have an 1869 Cadet rifle, made in 1870. Three hundred of them were overhauled at SA in 1881 and bear the additional cartouche of Samuel W. Porter, hence the boxed SWP/1881. It should also have a circled P at bottom of wrist, behind the the original small boxed L.

My 399 has the identical markings. The rod will be a tough item, but, a more easily-found M1868 rod can be shortened to the correct length, which is 32-5/8".
