Bob and Dick,I've been thinking along those lines too.I'm really happy that we agreed to a three day inspection.I rolled the dice with the hope that the incorrect things noted are the only things wrong with it.The rear sight being a rifle sight IS a bad sign. That being said the carbine on denveroldwest.com in two weeks looks like I wish 786 did from the photos. I like that gun and I'll be watching it. Most likely I'll be bidding too.The sale estimates are plenty high though..Well it's 50-50 on old 786.A 3 click tumbler,a musket butt plate, filled holes in the stock and inconsistant finish and patina on the parts to name a couple more and she'll be on her way back to Florida.I'll try to get a better Email address for Dick because there really are some pretty good pictures on this sight. Thanks Again Guys , Mike Collins
