Buffaloarms.com has a selection of lead bullets available in various diameters. Shooting jacketed bullets in a original trapdoor will cause the rifling to wear faster because the metal used back then was not as 'hard' as today's barrels. If you load 500gr. bullets atop 70 gr. BP you will not like the recoil. I use 405gr. lead bullets above 60gr. BP. Remember to leave NO air space between BP and seated bullet. Use a filler of some kind.
