Dick

We walked the Tulsa show all the way through. Alas, as we rounded the last turn I remembered the serial numbers for the carbines. Drats!!! I told my wife BEFORE we went to be sure we wrote down the Carbine numbers we found. Nobody was claiming a "Custer" Carbine. Nice for a change.

There were numerous Carbines. Some quite nice. Prices were in line as far as I know. Carbines are NOT my thing.

One seller had a Triangular-Rod '80 for sale. $1600.00 asking price.

Something weird was a rifle with a "cap" screwed onto the end of the barrel. Seller thought that it was threaded for a silencer. Had to laugh. It was unique to say the least.

Found an Officers Model that was as pristine as I have ever seen. $40,000.00. Shame my numbers didn't come up in the lottery.

Red looked good & was chipper. I haggled him out of a '84. Very nice rifle.

Ernie
