Good afternoon, "Master Po",
I'm pretty sure that you told me a couple of years ago that you already had my M1873 Carbine (the one previously belonging to Troop-C of our "Pennsylvania's Finest" and stamped "S.P.F. C 79" on the left side of the comb), serial number 21029, and having:
a) Model 1873 rear sight. b) 2-notch tumbler. c) Type-1 Hammer with heavy knurling (no shield). d) Stacking Swivel Barrel Band (with patent date). e) The stock was either a replacement or (Al seemed to think) never received a cartouche nor a Circled-P proof stamp.
If you don't have this one, please let me know and I have photos from the article which Al had done in the TRAPDOOR NEWSLETTER and will be happy to send you whatever you need.
Hope that all is well with you folks, and the very best on your upcoming blockbuster book!
"The Grasshopper" [PETE]
