Al's "unpublished books"

Come on Al "...one of the unpublished books on Springfield that I never finished..."
Quit being a lazy retired guy sitting around watching Oprah all day, and get busy writing another book, or two.
We have benefitted tremendously from your previous efforts, and are greedy enough to want MORE!
If you don't want to go to the expense and hassle of a hard copy, just write something and then "save as .pdf file" (or save and then convert if necessary). You can do it a chapter at a time, then go back and make any corrections in prior chapters as needed, without being stuck with a stack of unalterable hard copies.
Just a bunch of pages of "Neat stuff I found at Springfield or the Ordnance Department" would be wonderful. And, without clearly defined limits [e.g. Model 1865 through 1888 inclusive] you can start or stop anywhere. You can do a bunch of short sections and then reshuffle them with a table of contents into a finished product without waiting for the "whole thing" [whatever that might be!] to be finished.
Remember, dead men tell no tales, and we want to hear from you while we can... over many more years, of course.
