THANKS FOR THE INFO, IT APPEARS SOMEONE WENT TO A LOT OF TROUBLE TO DO THIS HOWEVER THEY ARE OUT THERE. WHAT WOULD BE THE CHANCE SA FORGOT THE STAR? AS YOU CAN SEE I'M STILL HOPING. IF THIS IS A RIFLE CHANGED TO A CARBINE AS IT HAS THE "C" SIGHT AND WHAT APPEARS TO BE AN ORIG 3 PC CLEANING ROD IN STOCK NO SIGNS OF CUT OFF BARREL WHERE WOULD YOU PLACE THE VALUE?
NEW QUESTION; I AM IN POSSESION OF A 1884 S # 554095 TD RAM ROD RIFLE WITH A UNIQUE MARK/SYMBOL (4 TRIANGLES WITH THE 90DEG.ANGLE POINTING TO THE CENTER TO THE NUMBER 6) ON THE FWD LEFT SIDE OF THE RECEIVER. I HAVE HEARD THIS CALLED A DELTA AND WAS USED AS A TRAINING RIFLE AND NOT FIRED. ARE YOU FAMILAR WITH THIS? BASED ON YOUR EXPERIENCE HOW WOULD YOU DETERMINE FIRED/NOT FIRED QUESTION. BOB
