That's a good place to start. I would Sight this load at 100 yds. them move out to 200 for drop. Then go to the 300 yds. You will find that bullet drop at 300 yds. will be affected by the "light" load. If you are having to make moderate elevation adjustments you are o.k. If the adjustments seem severe try adding .5 grains at a time up to 15.0. Any bullet over 405, stay below 16 grains. You can push a 300 grain bullet out at the max. of 16 grains but you may experience more lead fouling.

I have had good luck with the Trail Boss in the "newer" 84's. Bore wear in the "seasoned' barrels. will effect accuracy.
