Frank, we were wondering about it at our club range one day and came up with this. Primer .02 ea.Black powder GOEX 2fg. at 14.00 a pound 11.66 at 60 grains per shot. Bullet 500 grain cast in a Paul Jones mould 2.00 per pound alloy 14.28. Lube SPG bought in bulk .015 for a total of 25.97 cents per shot. Our black powder club usually orders primers powder and lead a the best cost and it is shared with the members at cost. Bullets could be cast cheaper from pick-up junk but the results would vary.We do not shoot smokless so have no idea of the cost there. Hope this helps.
