Hi Don, I have the same "Ordnance Memoranda" book. The Japan wax is entirely too dry in its natural state, as would be the graphite. So the Japan wax would need to be alloyed with something liquidy. Yes, I am working with Japan wax and trying to find a good alloy for it. Melting or heating it will do you no good as far as trying to lube a bullet. It simply hardens and then flakes out of the grooves. And if you melt it and put it in your lubersizer, you will not be able to squeeze it through the sizing die. I have had no experience with Bayberry tallow before, but I am sure the two are very different. Regards, Ken
