Within general limits, I can make some pretty educated guesses. Understand that the surviving records are minimal - no one has a full list, or anything close to it, for 7th Cavalry issues. A very few arms have been forensically ID'd to the battle, and certain ranges are certainly more suggestive than others. The lowest recorded one is 12221, and the highest 43617 - quite a spread for some 275 arms! Did you have a specific number in mind - other posts suggest you may be considering restoring something?
