Re: Ammunition identification

I researched the 2 books written by Al Frasca and discovered on page 240 of volume 1, bottom row of cartridges, speciman "C" is same type of case, but with different load. Head stamp is identical. After thinking about my questions, I realize that no one can answer the powder question, as these could be reloads, and if not, still no way to know without taking one apart. I also don't want to risk damage to one of my rifles, or my only carbine by using ammunition of unknown orgin. I will save the 40 rounds. I would appreciate any opinions or thoughts that anyone wants to share, as I have plenty to learn, and appreciate anyone's thoughts.
