You're certainly welcome, but I need to point out that this was sort of a special case, involving shennanigans on the part of the fabricator to a degree (thankfully) seldom seen, but the seller has to bear some responsibility as well.

Granted, he's asking FAR FAR less than than the true value ($25,000+) of what the faked piece (1 of just 26) would bring if real, but, there is no cause to lie about it either (I'd say "misrepresent" if it hadn't run on for so long). He may not originally have known what he took in, but he HAS known the truth for at least a couple of years now, and the ad has NOT been changed, one iota.

I don't deliberately go looking for "bad" guns, but I'll be glad to answer any questions to the best of my ability.
