Where, is this firing proof? My original stock has a circle "P" and the otehr cartouches that were or are present I don't see as it had been sanded to clean it up. The gun or metal itself is mint! I'm positive not made of parts, but at the armory.. probably for a guard unit. IE the stamp on the buttplate. Now the other stock appears to be exact in every way, but an ESA cartouche and on a bit squarer I cannot make out exactly. I don't seen any others and the only other difference is the lack of ramrod spoon (no retaining pin hole either), but it is a very nice stock and not sanded with old patina ect.
