Paul- I am assuming this is a carbine with a barrel about 22 inches long and a bar on the left side between the lock screws, as nearly all the numbers in that range are for carbines.
This would be considered a "Custer range" carbine (if it is a carbine!).
It is in a range of numbers many think had a good chance of being with Custer, but absent proof from long lost documentation, or rather speculative forensics testing, it may well have been several states away from Custer.
Value depends on condition, and any provable history. Just as a wild ballpark estimate probably a couple thousands dollars, if a carbine, and maybe more if in nicer condition.
If a rifle then lots less, and if a parts gun, probably even less than that.
Hope that helps.
