Brings back fond memories. Around 1971 I was able to purchase "most" of 21 REALLY beat-up M1906 fencing muskets, for about $10 each, as I recall, from a little theater group in San Jose, CA. Stocks were in short supply, less than ten, probably, but the metal parts became the nucleus of my sales/trading stock.

I'm sure one of our readers will be able to suggest a person to help you. Or, it could be accomplished via photos and email.

For openers - there are NO "Model 1878s. Look again, with magnification and good light, and you will find that to be a "3".
