Re: Article in Man At Arms

Finally received my copy today.

I am even more skeptical than I was having just the comments here to go on.

I may be wrong (not the first, or probably last time) but I see lots of smoke but very little fire.

Association of Firearm and Tool Mark Examiners forensics experts can make positive matches between some guns and cases, but I think whoever did this study is drawing conclusions based more on wishful thinking than verifiable scientific proof. A large comparison microscope view of the purported firing pin imprint match would be a good start to gain credibility.

That is without even addressing any possible problems with a gun, the first which bothers me is having a SA style script P firing proof on the "field replacement" stock.

It is a great story, but fiction or non-fiction? - the buyer can decide.

Caveat emptor!
