Just to get everyone's juices working, does it disturb anyone else that, of the 36 FS artifacts noted, half are described as "cartridges" as opposed to "cases"? And, the statement is made that the gun matches "all 36". How is that possible, if half do not have FP hits?

Now, I'm pretty sure the photo in which our friend Larry appears was "staged", and I have NO problem with that, at all. BUT, if we are to believe that cases were involved, they would get thrown every which way in a fire fight - not all landing in the stated "pile" - lending great credence to the fact that they really were "cartridges" and not "cases", hence inadmissible as matches.

Larry, the floor is yours - and I hope you do chip in. Nobody wants the carbine to be right more than me (except the owner!!) but I want it it REALLY be right, not hokum.
