No, I was assigned under the 10th Mountain Division, but 1st Cav is #1 in my book. No charge for the rounds, my pleasure. I dont buy that hollow base for weight thing posted before, and I never heard that; but what do I know, maybe I need to re-read Spence. I judge how clean a burn I get by the amount of fouling control I need to do after every shot and by how clean my brass looks after I extract it. I used the Federal 215 for a long time but started using CCI LG RIFle MAG when the Federal dried up. My Trapdoor that I shoot most is having some minor stock work done, old boy finally cracked last time out, so I am on the line with the Sharps right now. I dont like to shoot the carbine or the 1870 anymore. You think 45-70 is a chore, try getting the 50-70 to work nice!
