The shell cases should be trimmed to the correct length BEFORE reloading. New cases are not all the correct length either. Trim your cases first, then seat the bullet to the last lube ring. NEVER allow the bullet to rest on the rifling.

The bullet is supposed to "jump" a few thousands before engaging the rifling.

You are using lubed bullets right?????

I have eliminated the problem with the larger bullets very easily. I don't shoot them!! I use 300-330's in all my TD's. They cost less & are just as effective.
