Then you have a pretty scarce - in fact DARN scarce, though perhaps a bit esoteric and more slanted to the very advanced collector - rifle, from the brief "transitional" period, which spans only about 20,000 numbers, and contains several different varieties. I'd either keep it, since it will be VERY tough to replace, or, if you sell it, try to get some premium $$$. It will have limited appeal, unfortunately - many people won't care. Shooters won't like it.

I'm not completely clear on the "why" of your selling. Permanent thinning? Temporary emergency? If you plan on getting back into TDs at a future date, then you want to keep those pieces that are not run-of-the-mill. Cadets are not hot sellers, but only 22,000 were made - way less than carbines.
