Way to go Ken. Mine looked like it should have been thrown away, but after a restoration it also looks very nice. It is amazing what you can do with one of these old relics with a little TLC and some nice replacement parts. What does it matter if it isn't all original or correct, as long as we are happy with it and don't try to pass it off to anyone else for something that it is not. I will never sell mine. I may give it to my oldest son, but it will never be sold. I treasure these old rifles and the history they represent. Good luck with yours.
