I thought I'd share this with the Trapdoor collecting bretheren here...

(Replace the "XX" with "tt")

I had bought a model '68 from Mr. Frasca back in February, and finally got it out when my son was home from Minot AFB a couple weeks ago. I did share this with Al, but thought I'd pass it along to everyone.

This is from a paltry 50 yards, but I'm still impressed. I was aiming at the center of the bottom of the sheet. That's why the holes are in the "correct" spot. Yes, there are three holes here.

I did use a smokeless load. 26 gr of 5744 with magnum rifle primers. I believe I used Lee's 450 gr mould with pure lead. I used Starline .50-70 cases. Compared to my '66, this one's pretty dead on.
