Re: It's been SOLD...

OH NO Dick, I wasn't in any way referring to you. When I make those remarks I always remember a doctor who I once worked for. He retired when he reached 70 and he didn't last a month. He had no family, no hobbies, nothing to get up in the morning for and one morning his sister found him dead in bed. Also I had a father-in-law who went very similarly, he was 71 and had no interests, no hobbies and fell at 71. So when I think about the quests, I always remember them and I am much like you, I have so many hobbies and so much work to do, I will not finish it all in two lifetimes, so I think that it is absolutely essential that humans have that quest, something to always look forward to in order to stay healthy and live a long life. I am 69 and I look at my dad who is 95 and healthier than I am and he certainly is more active. He is absolutely amazing in that he always has jobs to do and stays very active and is always talking about the next task. No one would think that he is that old and he is also very sharp mentally. I am also very happy with the collection that I have, but the fantasy is always there, what if I won the lottery, then some of those elusive things may become a reality. Of course it is a fantasy. I don't even buy lottery tickets, but we can always dream. It helps keep the brain healthy. Now back to work. Got to get on the tractor and do some work out back. Have a good one.
