I agree, as to expense. Also, relicas tend to go down in value, until inflation kicks in. I remember when H&R replicas were going for less than $275, about 30 years ago. Today, with in- flation, they might go for $500(?). An original, on the other hand, has gone up in value, even accounting for inflation. Besides, the originals are safer and better made.
