Yep, they used to go for $25.00 or so until Turner Kirkland queered the deal for everyone by cornering the market on them when he started advertising that he was buying them. The prices went sky high quickly. Even so, I was able to buy a virtually pristine 1884 for $150.00 retail back in 1975. Ah...those were the days. Of course, a good draftsman or construction engineer was earning $5.00 an hour then too.
