I'd be glad to look at the pictures, but would like to know the correct serial number.

Legitimate long comb/no trap stocks do exist but are very uncommon - means one must look VERY carefully at the front end, and inletting for band spring and sling bar. The stock COULD be a repro, as at least one supplier furnished them that way. Lack of any cartouche at all is not a good sign.
