That's an "interesting" Model 1868 Rifle - apparently made very shortly after they changed the breechblock date ("1868" dated blocks are VERY rare - and the changeover seems to have occurred at about 100).

Yours is the lowest numbered 1869 date I've ever encountered.

There is, however, no historical data recorded for that number, or anything even close, for that matter.
