Joe is correct, and also re-read Dick's post earlier, regarding your exact intentions regarding shooting. If you intend to shoot accurate loads you MUST read Wolf ( his wife Pat still runs the website ). You must fire a 405 hollow base from the carbine in a soft lead alloy, 20-1 over 55 gr BP. You can shoot a normal 500 grainer from the rifle with a full load ~ 70 gr BP. Wolf claims he saw no benefit from using a wad. i.e. there is no reason to have blow by if the bullet base expands to grip the grooves.
