Hello John. You finally brought up a subject about which I can speak with first-hand knowledge. PLEASE DON'T TELL MY GOOD FRIENDS AL FRASCA AND "RED" DAUGHERTY, but since last Spring I have been in the midst of a "second childhood" (or a "Senior Moment", or some other such condition), but I have bought (all from COLLECTORS' FIREARMS, Ryan Hayes has handled all my orders for me and done an absolutely super job): 1. A 1915-stamped 9x19mm Parabellum DWM Pistole 08 LUGER semi-automatic; 2. An 1943-vintage Japanese 8mm NAMBU semi automatic pistol; a 1917 Colt 45/ACP Revolver; a 1916-vintage all-COLT M1911 45/ACP semi-automatic pistol; and a 1940 WALTHER-made ("ac" code-stamped) 9x19mm Parabellum Double-Action Pistol - - all with original period Holsters and Magazine Pouches or Half-Moon Clip Pouches - - all from COLLECTORS' FIREARMS and all quite minty (and as with Al Frasca's inventory, even considerably better than the color photos) - - and beautifully packaged. And, as you say, I really had to work hard to extract the guns/accessories from the shipping cartons. And inside they were wrapped with real "TLC" with the invoices packaged carefully in plastic. And, like you, I have a number of friends who have bought from COLLECTORS' FIREARMS a number of times...all with the same experiences.

With best regards,

PETE
