LRR = Long Range Rifle.

SA made around 200 0f these, 1878-1881. The early ones - from 105000 to 157000 are VERY haphazard as to features, those above 162000 fall into two VERY distinct and uniform patterns; 24 of one, and about 150 of the other.

I am lucky enough to own one of the 24, and am restoring an early one for display. The LR rifle models will be covered in the second half of my book.
