Perhaps unwittingly, you have asked a fairly complex question. :-)

On the earlier .50 caliber model of 1868, there is some correlation, since they may be dated 1868, 1869, or 1870. All Model 1869s are dated 1870. All Model 1870s are dated 1870. "Model 1873" blocks span from 1874 to about 1886. "Model 1884" blocks span from about 1887 to 1894.

So the answer is basically "no", but a more specific question might produce a less complicated answer.
