My wife is to the point that she skips the gun show in Tulsa cause she knows I will be hangin' out with "Red" Daugherty. She knows the drill. I go all over the floor buying TD's & takin' em to Red for approval. When he tells me there is something wrong or not right what can I do??? I've already bought it & you can't take it back. Soooooooo we have to take it home. Right?
Funny thing happened this year. I got one really nice rifle from a "pawn" seller & a parts rifle from a guy who had just traded for it. Well, the pretty rifle has a '89 stock with a low serial number. The other rifle had an '84 cartouche. Soooooo, I swap the stocks & the pretty rifle is totally correct. I tell my wife (who shoots better 'in me) that I have made a Great investment. I can sell the parts & recoup my money on the parts rifle. She thinks I'm a wise trader & I wind up with another TD. Do you see where this goes guys.
Got a dandy from Red also.
She may not let me go by myself anymore, but I'd rather she was there anyway.
She sees things a little different than most women.
I am Blessed
