Fred,

You made a comment, "Can't say I've ever used a black powder load then come to think of it. I wouldn't use anything else now, being older and wiser".

If you noticed my posting about firing my 45-70 trapdoor's with a low power smokeless load. I'm learning and thought it was safe to fire smokeless rounds assuming they are down-sized loads equivelent to 70 grains of black powder. Is that not true?
