Thanks for the information! I will check Midway USA. I should have know, they are "just down the road" 60 miles from here. Glad to learn BP ammo is available. I'm a little nervous about firing smokeless loads, not because I know much at all about the differences but I do understand smokeless has a lot more power and too much powder can be big problems!

I did buy some 45-70 Govt. loads from Blue Star Cartridge and Brass. They have a 350 grain bullet with 24 grains of h-2400. I'm not sure what affect the lighter bullet will be but it was the only dealer who was selling an all lead bullet so I was happy about that. The guy said they are safe for trapdoors. I picked them up at the Louisville show; 20 rounds for $21. Hard to argue at that cost.
