Re: trial rifles

The breech block has the long arch and is stamped 1870/Eagle/Arrows/U.S. Other things I forgot to mention are: 1) the thumb piece has the "back corner totally removed" as shown on page 103 of Book II; 2) the stock has the boxed script L; and 3) the rod keeper is the 1870 Porter patented version.
