Yes, I've noticed that his "misleading" descriptions are matched only by his ambiguous photography - somehow, one is often left wishing that a picture went just 1/2" further. Then there is the rather squalid yellow tone and the often "just not QUITE there" focus.

On the carbine I inspected, the ESA, while it didn't look exactly "right", wasn't TOO bad, but the (P) was DEFINITELY "fresh", to say nothing of the fact that the lines were WAY too fine, almost spidery - the stamp being used is not even a GOOD fake.

What bothers me is that some very respected names in our field - whom I shall NOT name - seemed willing to give TG a wink and a "pass", and were reluctant to get involved in the recent court case.
