No, that is the first I've heard of THAT kind of problem. AFAIK, Wayne Gagner (while we do not see eye-to-eye on some matters) is a VERY honest and honorable person.

Also AFAIK, his rules are one and one ONLY s/n per email, with the added caution that he is 'very busy'. Perhaps you broke that rule and are being subtly chastised? I do NOT understand his relectance to at least answer you.

And, I think you may be laboring under a misapprehension: The known serial numbers only comprise about 5% of production. IF any of your numbers ARE recorded, a letter should be available, on an "as time permits" basis. If your number(s) is/are not recorded, he has repeatedly stated that he will NOT undertake an individual search. So, your (apparent) thought that all you have to do is ask nicely, and send money, to get eleven letters, is, shall we say, wishful thinking!

Over 40+ years of collecting, and out of over 100 guns, at one time or another, I've been able to qualify for five letters (2 TD, two Krags, and a Springfield Hotchkiss) so am right at the "average". Hopefully you will have better luck!
