The muzzle will have the appearance of a liner caused by the single shouldered rod. If the rod has been used to clean the rifle, then there will be a pronounced recess around the muzzle. Using a strong magnifying bglass will reveal it is a recess and there is no braze present. The photographs of the muzzle are shown in the Trapdoor Newsletters.
